Dear model friends, dear friends of the fire modeling in "small scale" 1:87/H0,

these pages will inform you about a long-standing personal hobby of Wolfgang Jendsch which shows the connection of his full time activity to his subjects-related spare time.

For more than 40 years Wolfgang Jendsch deals with the building of example-like miniature vehicles in 1:87/H0 scale. The models are copied to her really existing examples till the smallest detail -, chassis, vehicle body and fire-technical equipment are returned absolutely faithful to types and faithful to detail.

The model collection of Wolfgang Jendsch encloses nowadays about 5,000 models of fire and rescue vehicles from numerous states as well as from numerous organizations - from the horse-pulled steam engine up to the large fire engines, from the ambulance up to the special vehicle of the disaster service.

Our Internet pages inform about the H0-model building as well as in particular about the extensive works and publications of Wolfgang Jendsch. His model collection counted for a long time as one of the most extensive in Europe and was issued often in jubilee events and professional events (among other "Interschutz - Der Rote Hahn", Trade Fair St. Gallen/Switzerland).

Thanks to and recognition for the "... excellent work as a presenter of the field of hobby in the fire sevice" received Wolfgang Jendsch in December 1980 from the "Vereinigung zur Föederung des Deutschen Brandschutzes" (vfdb; "Union to the support of the German fire service").
